I quickly found acrylics were not suitable for the outdoor painting I wanted to do, so I swapped to oils, but I hope to eventually return to acrylics for indoor painting.<\/p>\n

Retirement has brought many challenges, and I haven’t been able to paint as much as I hoped.<\/p>\n

Like playing scales on a piano, I think regular sketching is very helpful to maintain skill levels.\u00a0<\/p>\n
